Jesus Trebuchet Heaven Launcher
The “Jesus Heaven Launcher Trebuchet” is the name of our trebuchet, it is named like this because the trebuchet has crosses and jesus imagery. The purposes of this projects was to build a trebuchet the fits the time period of our design and to successfully launch forwards 4 out of 5 times. A trebuchet is a chinese military invention first made in 400 BC this machine flung large rocks using the force from dozens of soldiers pulling down; in the 12 century the christians and muslims used a counterweight inteind of human force. Trebuchets stopped being used reliably when gunpowder was invented and when cannons were invented.

To construct a perfect trebuchet you must have a sling with a 45 degree sloped release angle on the top of the sling and to make it so it releases at the very top of the throw.
To get the maximum throwing speed you have to set up the trebuchet so it’s counterweight arm ratio is 1:3.75. You have to set it up like this because it has the perfect balance of balance and weight. That's how you set up your trebuchet for distance

To set up your trebuchet for accuracy you must a lead counterweight and a stable trebuchet, lead is the best material because it’s a cheap cost material and it’s incredibly heavy.
To make a trebuchet stable you have to put weights on the corners of the trebuchet or the sides and attached them to the side.
The most I was every challenged is this project when the arm for our trebuchet broke while testing the day before the exhibition. Making the sling was too hard for use so, we paid robert $5 to make a sling for us. Another problem was that most of the time the team all worked on one thing so there was too much people crowding around one task inteind of being spread out.
I really don’t know want any jobs we did was special for the group, because all of the jobs we did just seemed like it blended together to a veage medore activities , maybe besides jai, jai was good.

2. What is considered art?
art is a way to express an idea. In different cultures art is different because of the the that the culture shapes and defines it.10,000 years ago art was created because people had to find a way to take important information and pass it on for the next generation.
3. How does context affect art
Context give art more meaning by telling you instead of you figuring it out you’re self.
But by releasing the mean it removes all challenge trying to understand it.

Context matters because it give directional help to people who don’t get it.
It’s can also give a paint historical importance.
